The Coax E.P marks the return of Red Shield Music as a Label, the Club night and event promoters since its last release in 2009 have remained busy opening venues in Puerto Rico and hosting many internationally renowned artists across the electronic spectrum. At the core of these events, the residents have a cohesive unique sound that is always centered around soulful off kilter bass heavy music spanning experimental house, techno and beyond. In this return, Red Shield mainstay brings us LOGO, who has long worked with the label since its inception. This is a new moniker by an established Puerto Rican producer widely recognized in the urban scene but has dabbled in rock as well having an already international electronic footprint under different pseudonyms. The Coax E.P has touches of Soul, reverb drenched picturesque themes reminiscent of burial with glimpses of acid and ethereal vocal snippets.
